Chess Duo Support

Chess Duo is a two-player chess app. One person starts a room, the other joins with a 6-character code. You can FaceTime while you play.

Quick start

1. Open Chess Duo and type your name.
2. Tap Start a new game, then send the room code to your partner.
3. They tap I have a code, enter the code, and the game begins. Colors are assigned at random.

Common questions

The app said it was no longer available. That was an old test install. Download Chess Duo from the App Store or TestFlight instead. Do not keep the old icon.

I cannot join the room. Check the six letters, and that both of you have internet. Create a new room if the old one already finished.

Hints or Play this turn for me are missing. Open Settings in the app and turn those assists on. They stay off until you enable them.
